The bloody creature turned towards Dalgina, fixing her with glowing eyes set to tear her apart. Dalgina scrambled back as it moved closer, her wail cut off as she moved, giving way to whimpers as she laid down. The words that came from the canine didn't seem scary though. Dalgina stood still, making sure not to move as she tried to determine if it was a trick. Dalgina shook her head at being asked if she was hurt, continuing to eye the stranger with suspicion.
Pushing herself forward Dalgina moved closer to the scary adult. She took a deep sniff, and realized that she didn't smell like blood. Puzzled now she looked up. Not covered in blood? She was still prepared to turn tail and run if she was proven wrong, but it seemed less likely now. Staying close to the ground Dalgina looked around uneasily. She wished Papa was there, or one of her orej. They'd know what to do.
