Amy had been working on setting up her cabin. She had set aside a place for her slave, a nice place for her to tie him to and keep him out of the way. A sturdy wall had been drilled into to form a place for her to attach his chain to. Raoth was in there right now, still working on caring for his legs that Amy had ripped open dragging him behind the wagon. Amy was in her own room at the moment, laying furs out and thinking about how to go about getting a nice mattress when a wave of pain washed through her. Amy stood still for a few moments, trying to think about what it was. A second wave confirmed the thought. She was going into labor. There was no time to waste, the pups would be coming.
Isolated from the rest of the pack there was no one nearby to help her with the birthing. Stumbling through the house Amy reached the room Raoth was tied to. The slave looked up startled to find a very fiery Amy standing in the doorway, clutching some throwing knives. Get someone to help. NOW! Raoth wasn't too sure what she was talking about, watching her unchain him. He hesitated, and Amy cursed, chucking a knife at him. He narrowly dodged it and set off running for the caverns. Sticking her head out she howled, trying to get more attention. Another wave hit her and Amy worked her way to the bed, concentrating on pushing with the contractions, trying not to worry about what they would be like.
