Amy's mind had become clouded, concentrating simply on the effort of not losing her mind with the contractions. Occasional grunts came out but that was it. The pups weren't coming out yet, still leaving some time for someone to come and help her with the birth. Hopefully it would be soon, as the contractions were starting to pick up. The pups would be coming whether or not someone was there to help her. She could only hope that the pups would be alright without medical attention, or that the local medic was really, really fast in moving.
A young voice brought her head snapping up. Her fangs bared in annoyance. This was no time to deal with foolish pups. Grabbing a throwing knife she chucked it. It hit the wall beside the doorway, quivering slightly from the force of the throw. The pups are coming boy! This is no time for stupid pups! She hoped he would leave her alone. An extremely painful wave hit Amy, followed by a long string of obscenity once she was able to breath again. She had no idea why she wanted pups so badly anymore. It was so much effort, and she didn't even know what the end result would be.
