She noted which pack members had chosen to attend the ceremony. It wasn't mandatory and wasn't a meeting, but she was pleased to see the faces of the members that had taken the time from their day to come and watch. She liked to feel connected with the pack, and some members she only ever saw at meetings and nowhere else. Naniko was glad to see that Octavius had made it through the night without eating and that he and his brothers had followed the directions that she had given them. Her boys really were growing up fast. She took the offered piece from Octavius, reaching out to try and pat him on the shoulder. "Good job, Son." She said. Words of praise were few and far between for her, but he and his brothers deserved them on this day.

Once the members who wished to attend had assembled, she cleared her throat. "Thank you all for coming. Today my three sons will be made into full pack members, cleared of their pup status and gifted with the respect and responsibilities that come with being a ranked member. Their tier of choice...or lack thereof...will be their decision. The items that they have crafted from the creatures that they sacrificed have a meaning, telling a story of what each new member will grow to become as they continue their lives as adults here in Anathema. Afterward, members will be free to give gifts or words of wisdom to the new adults of the pack. Anyone who attended this ceremony is welcomed to join the feast and celebration. "

The female lifted the first piece, Octavius'. "Octavius chose to hunt the raccoon, an intelligent and crafty creature. He will have many trials to test him in his adult life, but with his own sharp intelligence and resourcefulness, he will overcome them." She handed the item back to her son, offering him a charm necklace as well. "Severus chose to hunt a hawk, a bird that can be very difficult to hunt. They are among the rulers of the sky, swift and merciless when they hunt their prey. In his life in the pack, he will use his own swift and merciless skills to defend the pack against outside threats." She gave a similar charm to her gray son, moving on. "Lastly, Judas chose to hunt the squirrel. Squirrels are scouting creatures, always aware of their surroundings and quick to evade danger and threats. In life, Judas will use a combination of awareness and understanding to keep out of danger." She finished the ceremony, raising her hands in the air. "Now we will welcome these new adults into the pack with a feast and celebration!"
