His attempt at formality was purely to respect the sanctity and sacredness that the temple displayed, people had come here before and worshiped their gods, whoever they might be with love and reverence in their hearts, this he was certain of and he was wary to show any type of informality in the face of such a thing but the tones and voice of his sister inevitably caused a loosening of his tongue and the vowels and consonants tripped easily from his tongue as water did from the sky.

He did not reveal his reason for walking the territory and it was sure to upset her if he did, if she asked he would lie to her, lie for her own peace of mind. He remembered the time a while ago where he had attacked Kiara for lying to Dalgina by pretending to be dead and decided that his actions were just, he had a good reason, to spare her pain. Their Mahn would get in trouble for hurting X'yrin but he wouldn't not as much anyway, they would just assume his play had gotten a bit rough, maybe a strict talking to but X'yrin would hurt Mahn even more if Jace decided to attack.
