Dhiate enjoyed seeing her smile. It made him feel good. Dhiate followed her directions and climbed in the back of her wagon. It was strange, being in a den made of wood, but at the same time kind of comfortable. He lay back against the wall and closed his eyes. So comfortable, he could almost fall asleep. With a lurch, he shot up. He looked out of the back and he saw that the small area they had been in were now getting farther and farther. This den moved! His ears shot up and he glanced around in excitement. To think he had been missing so much. He sat back against the wall and smiled. He had so much to learn. His eyes closed. Perhaps he would take a small nap.
Over the course of the ride, he woke up when he heard strange noises or they hit a rather large bump. Sometimes he'd go back to sleep, others he'd work on his braid some more. Every now and again, he'd look up from his braid to watch the world around him change. About halfway there, Dhiate was able to braid without looking, although it wasn't the best. His fingers began to grow sore from using them so much and he fell back asleep. Where would he wake up next?
