Neela's nose might be less than stellar but her ears were incredibly sharp, a skill set gathered from years of working on a boat; an environment where ones ears were more important than their nose due to the strong smell of the sea. As such she was aware of somebody approaching her camp long before Tony's scent met her nostrils; a mix of smoke, metal, blood and sweat that was becoming increasingly familiar to her.

While she hadn’t planned on meeting Tony she couldn’t say that she minded; despite some of the uncomfortable feelings that his presence brought up she genuinely enjoyed the boy's company and in some ways felt more comfortable with him than she did her pack mates; at least she wasn't almost lying to Tony by pretending her past was something it wasn't.

Neela twitched her ear in a silent signal to Grynn so the unfamiliar, at least to Grynn, wolf managed to approach her without getting his eyes clawed out by an irate falcon. That didn’t stop the chicks from coming over for a look though, Marahute and Skylar peering curiously up at him while Oonu circled around his head, chattering rapidly.

"Rather long drop from fer someone at big as yerself." Neela replied when Tony spoke, turning round to face him with a challenging, cocky grin on her face, "Should be amusing to see." Grin still in place Neela reached out and gently pushed off of Tony's chest, sending herself backwards over the drop.

Neela hit the water head first, hands out before her in a pyramid, penetrating far into the surprisingly deep pool. Rather than come back up immediately Neela grabbed ahold of a rock on the bottom and flipped herself so that she was looking upwards. She had a good minute or two's are in her lungs and was curious as to Tony's reaction when she didn’t emerge.
