Dhiate clutched his eye, wincing. He looked up at his mistress and almost whimpered at the sight of her disappointment. He didn't really know why, but the look in her brown eyes hit him like a sledgehammer. He wanted to make up for whatever it was he'd done wrong, but he wasn't sure what it was.
He watched her walk away with sad eyes and then caught a glimpse of Raoth's smirking face. His muzzle wrinkled in a snarl, somehow that look brought an anger that was more important than the mistress's disappointment and his own pain. He vowed to make him pay one day. He didn't know how or why, but he'd make that kid fall to his knees and beg for forgiveness.
His anger took the backseat when Amy came out again. He didn't really understand this woman. One second she was promising him revenge, the next she was forcimg him to join her pack, then she was mutilating him and telling him that he belonged to her and now she was bandaging his wound like nothing had happened. It was giving him a headache, but Dhiate took a few steps forward and allowed her to bandage his eye. His eyes held no anger, no betrayal, just pure innocence and trust. Whatever her plans for him were, he knew that without a doubt, he'd follow her until the end.
