It's wonderful Big Grin Don't kid yerself.

Word Count :: 371

Her eyes skirted around nervously but then her father lifted his head and was all alright. He smiled at her, something she hadn't seen him do often, and she managed a smile back. The water that dripped around the walls had been quite unsettling at first but now it seemed to calm the troubled Aoi, and make the world sound a lot less silent. She listened intently to the different sounds, watched the glittering puddles with much ease, and grew stronger with each second.

Alaki gestured her to come and she did, taking feeble steps to his side, before gently resting on the rock he sat on. There was enough room, luckily, for them to both sit without getting too uncomfortable. Her father then spoke to her, and she grinned automatically, the smile spreading wide across her shapely features. Fine. she replied quickly, sneaking a shadowed gaze his way. Her fingers knotted together and she gazed down at her skinny paws, weaving them in and out and drumming them together. But... she dared say; Since shifting, I'm too scared to shift back. finally, she could admit that to someone. And she didn't even feel nervous about it. And...haven't tried secui yet. Don't want to...hurt anybody. she'd heard terrible tales from Saigai- most likely made up, about some certain wolves that had attacked others in secui. That scared her. Not the hurting of others, but more, the consequences of it.

Aoi was still undecided about what she would be, or do. What her purpose would be in the pack. She hadn't figured out if she belonged yet, but she was getting close to making a decision. Like all young children though, she had a sort of view on things. And she either wanted to be a clever, witty warrior; a fighter and protector, or some sort of shepherd, to help and protect others. Though in her spare time, she'd love to learn how to write, and read, and draw. And play music of some sort. She'd been born with a sort of artistic side to her, though where it came from, she had no idea. Maybe that was something she'd have to ask her dad, when the time felt right.
