Despite being accepted into the secretive pack that had given her sister a home and had changed her so, Foxglove kept to her reclusive ways, her company mostly consisting of Szellem, who hardly left her side now, and Valeria, the champagne mare that seemed to be fine with the change of location, and the grey kitten, still in need of a name. It had taken her long enough to name Valeria, so she expected it would be ages before the kitten was named. That was alright, she supposed.
Her time was spent wandering, learning the bits and pieces of her new forever home. There was no leaving, Magnolia had told her, and so she was coming to terms with that. The idea alarmed her mildly, as while she had no desire to leave her sister now, she worried she would feel suffocated by the pack after a long while. Foxglove Monroe had proven to herself over and over again that she was a gypsy at heart.
Some days she roamed on horseback, and others it was her own two feet that brought her. Today, as she walked in the direction of the stables, it was only in the company of the spirit bird, flying low and near to her head. They were in murmured conversation as she lifted her eyes, seeing the strange male watching the strange creatures, the likes of which she had never seen. She hesitated, but pressed forward, knowing she would eventually need to become acquainted with the rest of the pack.
"What are they?" she inquired of the stranger, noting that he smelled vaguely of her sister. Magnolia had eluded her sights for a few days now; Foxglove had hardly seen her at all lately, actually. She hoped that her sister did not avoid her on purpose.
