Denver had seen her approaching, but did not acknowledge her until she got closer. She spoke to him, and he turned his head. The Confidant hadn't expected company, yet there she was; a lovely pale blonde with matching curls tumbling past her shoulders. Eyebrows raised, he sniffed; she was Salsolan, he could tell, but freshly so. Denver wasn't familiar with all of the newcomers, though perhaps he should be, now that there was danger in their midst. She was a girl, and she looked nothing like Maggie, but he thought of her nonetheless, and frowned. Pale eyes turned back to stare at the beasts. Llamas, he mumbled. Careful, they spit. The larger llama had roamed away for the moment, but the female was curious and sniffing at the new arrival. Denver still didn't trust them.
Stupid things; shoulda just left 'em in Ichika, he grumbled, the words tumbling out before he remembered he was in company now. Denver hadn't known the purpose of gaining these creatures, but they must have some use, lest Sirius and Eris would not have been so pleased. The Confidant hacked and spit at the ground beside the creatures. They ain't worth a life, he glowered, brooding as he leaned against the fence, eying the animals from the corner of his eye. Especially not Maggie's.
