At first Temo set out at a leisurely pace but with the pups so full of energy and in their excitement, kept running ahead and returning, the impatience for their slow father showing. He began to feel the energy of the moment and a need to burn it off like his children were doing, Temo changed to his lupus form and broke into a lope to keep up with the two younglngs that were cavorting about him investigating this and that.

With the pups busy about him to keep time distracted, it was not long before his ears picked up the ocean noises of the waves as they crashed ashore and rolled back out and the constant call of the gulls as they went about their daily business of searching the beaches and tidal pools for food. It was not to much longer that they broke through the forest and the ocean spread out before them with only the beach separating them from the water. Temo stopped and took in the view as it had been a while since his last visit to such a watery vista and childhood memories of Puget Sound that he had once visited while he was still with his birth pack.
