The sun peeked around the fluffy white clouds making large patterns of cloud shadows that moved over the landscape. One such shadow moved slowly off and left the beach with the various gulls, crows and sand birds and a wolf and his pups in the sun. Except for the circle around the wolves devoid of avian life, the birds were ignoring them as they went about their daily hunt for food.
Temo had love and adoration in his eyes and heart as he watched his pups and unconsciously kept an eye around them to keep his children safe. He chuckled at their puppyish antics and his tail slowly swished back and fourth sweeping the ground behind him.
His tail swished a bit faster as one then the other pup climbed up onto him their claws scratching at his tough hide as they sought purchase in his fur. His ears rotated to follow them and one tried to twitch as it was lodged in a mouth and being chewed upon. Temo chuckled at Dalgina's words and replied, It is good you guys are having fun. The nearer birds spooked as Keldava's yip spread out from them, for the moment, making them think they were being chased again.
