On the other hand, staring at her could get him injured, and he couldn't deny that Dhiate himself was beautiful. Reaching the wagon Amy dug around until she got fresh clothes. A growl alerted her, and coming out she snapped at Raoth, working to form a chain noose for Dhiate to hang from. Some meat was given to the slave, and Amy moved back around.
Getting some fresh tea she passed some to Dhiate, her brown eyes unusually gentle. Everything will be just fine. I promise. She couldn't promise him that there wouldn't be struggles in his future, as being homosexual there most definitely would, forced to sleep with females. It would be a steady life though, one guaranteed to always provide for him, and protection from the worst of what was out there.
