The look that Lillith had given to the woman did not phase her, instead, the mother twisted her own maw into a grin in a mock-evilness that she assumed the child had wanted to achieve, but was too young to get the facial expression right. A chuckle passed her lips at the child too. It was instantaneous though, that she moved on to her other actions. When she bounded away from the pup, the girl told her that she looked weird. It was true, the awkward stance of the tall woman parallel to the ground rather than perpendicular was a strange sight. Another grin jumped on Panda's face and she wiggled her small tail at her daughter. She remained stock still when her daughter went to climb up on her back though, and she looked up at the child as those sharp puppy teeth went to bite her half-ears. Panda lowered herself to the ground and laid on her stomach then and sighed lightly.

This was when the crows busted out of the trees like bats out of hell. Panda's eyes quickly went to the birds, and within them, their own crow flew, a white rat amoung the black ones. Panda noticed her child's bewilderment at the beasts, but Panda saw this as a warning from the birds. Her chocolate eyes looked to try and find Serenade and she sent a caw up to him, asking what the problem was. Lillith rolled off her back and that made Panda's attention go back to the girl, who then spoke. Lillith explained that she liked the 'living shadows', and that she thinks that's the shadows on her walls. Panda cocked her head lightly at the child, but held a smile the whole time. "Oh? You know that Senerade is a white version of the living shadows, right?" spoke the Furcas, a pink padded hand going to pet her daughter on the head. "You have to pay attention to the living shadows, they tell us secrets sometimes. Like, I think daddy's almost home." the woman spoke in a whisper to her daughter and she chuckled lightly as she looked back in the direction of the birds' roosting spot.

She was apprehensive since Serenade did not answer her back though, and the woman figured that he did not hear her call to him between everything else that was going on up there. Panda searched for the white among the black cluster of birds that sat within the trees. She found his white feathered body and she cawed at him again, and this time, he looked back at her, but lost the spot in which the thing that made them fly away in the first place. He cawed back, and he blew the cover of something...
