It was a sweet thing for the girl to think of Serenade as an angel, but Panda was sure that the beast was a demon in a way. His attitude was less than favorable at times, and he also seemed to have picked up a dirty mouth from somewhere within the caves. Whoever he had been talking to had the worst language. Panda smiled and chuckled at the child. "He might just be, Kind." spoke the mother as she pet her daughter's soft and beautiful fur. At the mention of Venom, the child got excited, but the burst of wings in the area had caused Panda to look at the birds, Serenade at the head of the pack of birds. He cawed just as loudly as the rest of them, communicating that there was danger, and in a rabid form. Panda looked down towards the tree in which the birds had been watching this animal from. Tumbling out of the bushes came a bobcat, hissing and spitting and foaming at the mouth. Cropped ears fell back on her head and her lips immediately lifted to show her sharp canid teeth. Her fur started to stand on edge and her half-tail rose high on her back.
Panda stood on her fours over the child and she watched the feline and it's movements. It caught sight of the two after what seemed to be a good minute of just a mental retardation episode. Panda knew the signs of rabies, and Panda thought just for a moment that it would be better to just run away, but then there was a chance of it following her into the caves, in which she would have to trick it to fall to it's death, but that could also risk anyone in the hallways at that point in time. She didn't have very much time to think about it though, because the rabid animal started running full speed at them. Panda stood up on her two legs and let out a terrible, feral, screechish-roar from her maw. The bobcat was not afraid though, and Panda's fear drained from her at that moment as well. She stepped forward a good few steps away from Lillith and once the feline was in the air, jumping at her, she quickly swept her leg across the air and into the ribs of the rabid beast. The sudden kick had knocked it out of the air, but not without it trying to grab out at her. The claws of the beast did run against Panda's wrist and she was quick to grab at her left wrist and groan about it. She was glad it wasn't a bite though, she couldn't afford that.
The feline still fell to the floor, but it wasn't gonna stay there for long, Panda knew this much. Lillith, hide somewhere. Don't let it see you. If it bites you, you'll die. she spoke to her child, her tone serious and stern, yet calm at the same time. Panda grabbed her train nail from her belt and she tapped the flat bottom of it. She was ready for the feline to get back up. She was waiting. She hoped that she would be able to time this well enough. This was a dangerous task without the proper weapon, and a train nail was not the most sufficient weapon for that task. She could work with it though, she just needed to use it wisely.
