True Nature

Terra smiled calmly as she was growled at. She wouldn't be intimidated. Well, it was more like she couldn't be. Her instincts told her when to be afraid and when not to be, and this wasn't a situation where she needed fear. Whether or not the stranger was stronger than her didn't matter, as Terra knew the land and tricks for getting out of such situations. Terra would win because there could be no other outcome. At least not unless this wolf suddenly became a lot smarter and a lot stronger. Terra watched her gather herself up, calming down. It seemed Terra had really riled her up with her actions.

Lightly she tossed her head, completely untouched by the words. She didn't bother staring the wolf down, not even feeling that a challenge was there. Her words alone revealed the difference in their levels. If you think I've judged you just by appearance you're wrong. Casually Terra reached up a leg scratching behind her ear. Shaking herself out she glanced back at the deer, wondering if it was close enough. Terra didn't feel like sticking around anymore, not with something much more interesting before her. She turned back to the stranger, grinning broadly. There's a reason why you want such a large prey, hm? What is it?
