Shadow saw the look in her eyes after what he said and knew he had hit home. However, as he looked at Amy he saw still that she considered him no more than trash. He saw it in her eyes and he heard it in her voice. That was it then, so easily he had lost his friend all from a simple mark on his body. He looked down towards the ground and growled and then he stepped aside and walked passed her.
He didn't bother hiding anything in his face, for the disappointment and hurt from being treated in such a way shown on his face as he walked along her side and then once he was behind her he took off back to camp. He said nothing and did nothing other than find his spot where he would lay down and then he turned to his side closed his eyes and growled to himself as he tried to go to sleep in order to forget.
So Amy was done with him, no longer was he worthy of friendship from her, even after he had traveled so far with her. First thing in the morning before anyone got up he would leave and make it easy for Amy to be alone like she seemed to enjoy so much.
Tomorrow Amy, I wont even say bye, you would want it that way.
