Pain covered the assassin's face as he walked back. Good. She had never wanted to be close with him anyways. He was the one that kept approaching her. He was the one who had wanted to be her friend, even when she told him that she didn't need any. She didn't follow him back, standing strong. She could take this. Amy wasn't a weakling that needed the comfort of slaves. She really wasn't. His words cut like a knife, knowing her so well, still being considerate despite her coldness, driving him away.
Running farther than before Amy hunted until she came across a hapless coyote, resting by a stream. She tore the coyote apart, it's pained cries quickly cut off as Amy released her anger and sorrow in a torrent of pain. It felt good to let herself go, to just tear another apart, satisfying her need for blood, quieting the darkness inside her. Returning to the campsite Amy's muzzle dripped with blood. Not bothering with shifting back Amy moved, laying next to Raoth and Dhiate. They might not like her, Raoth wanted to kill her, but at least they were with her. Softly she nuzzled into Dhiate's body, taking in the comfort from his scent before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
