He heard the man before he could smell and see him - large cupped ears caught sounds like a spider caught flies in its intricate gossamer web. His footsteps fell heavily - a male, and a slightly large one at that, although all the Luperci were large to the feline. He then saw the man; he was a wolf, that was plain as day, with his timber markings and darkish gray fur. He studied him for a while before the man turned towards him, and green eyes met green.
"Hello, hello, hello," Element replied in the Luperci's inquiring remark, standing from his sitting position and stretching his back in the typical cat arch fashion, his tail curling and his toes stretched out to their fullest. The sensation was light and sharpening; his former grogginess and thoughtfulness vanished and was replaced with sharp acuteness, his senses a blade. When he was done stretching, he looked at the Luperci inquisitively again. "Came to look for a book?"
