She didn't draw blood, but Terra felt the coyote's skin flinch at the touch of the metal. Point for her. Grinning Terra drew it back, this time preparing to take her dagger and drive it upwards, perhaps striking through the vulnerable exposed throat. Terra was actually calm in this little exercise, not feeling any particular need to act up. Her tail swayed behind her, green eyes measuring everything that was being done.
The hand twisted in her grasp. Immediately Terra let go, unwilling to sacrifice her balance for the grip. The twist had knocked her slightly off kilter anyways. She spent precious time wavering, ducking her head down against the blow that came for her head. Luckily a tree was nearby for Terra to lean into. She moved her dagger to catch the blow, only managing to knock it sideways towards where her arm was.
