The Alphess of New Dawn and her escort, the Gamma Shandom Qi’Vaex had arrived in Ichika no Ho-en just in time to set out on the hunt with those party goers that wanted to participate. Titania was still young and honing her hunting craft, and thought it would be prosperous to attend the hunt and observe the tracking and killing methods of those outside of New Dawn. Within her pack they had an intricate system based off of instinct, however each member when alone had their own tip or quirk that she tried to pick up on to better her practice. This hunt would show her how a myriad of allies hunted, and this thought pleased her. She left to attend a party, but may be able to make this trip beneficial for her pack after all. And what if she could return to her Alpha and true love with some special new technique? She dreamed of the day that she went from an “ok” huntress to a fine, talented wolfess.

So, with the party she moved. At first they chattered and jibed as they padded the terrain to the Sugarwoods – the place that Lady X’yrin had chosen for a hunt. She had been here before, but mostly in passing and never to hunt. But once they arrived, the tricolored female fell silent, her golden eyes now watching her peers around her.

It was X’yrin that she was much interested in, too, for she was a fellow leader, and the leader of her peoples’ closest ally, at that. Just a step behind X’yrin, she trotted at the autumn woman’s side. Titania had come a long way over the last few months, so only moments after they entered the Sugarwoods she found herself acutely in tune with the forest. These trees… they were different than those in New Dawn… and there was an intriguingly sweet scent in the air that wasn’t entirely bad. But aside from that scent, something else was prominent as well; this place was rich with game.

Coming off step with X’yrin, she weaved through a few trees before looping back around to the High Shepard and her cohort. At first it was nearly overwhelming, the scents, and Titania wasn’t sure she would be able to single out a specific animal on strange lands – though she could at home – but luckily, this wasn’t the case.

“If you loop around there,” she said, nodding toward where she had come from. “There are droppings and a foliage trail. Not sure from what; deer maybe. Didn’t look too big.” Although she was the Alphess of New Dawn, in these strange lands she respected her friend X’yrin as the same station as her. She wanted to see how these people worked, so if they didn’t choose to follow the trail she may have found, she would wait and see what they did choose.
