Proud of his brother’s progress, Octa tossed a few glances back over his shoulder and watched as Severus began running to catch up. He was shaky on two feet for a little while, like a child still, but that was to be expected. Overall, he began moving quicker and with ease once he drew up alongside the larger male. Grinning happily, the white furred boy tilted his head to the side and nipped at the others ear gently. They really would have to go and practice out in the woods, far away from everyone else, after this little stint of helping in the gardens.
When they got to the pile of wood, Octa crouched and began piling up all of the wood that Severus discarded, not caring about looking big or tough. Once there was a rather large stack of smaller pieces, he slid his arms under and scooped it up, standing and looking around again. Unlike Sev, his eyes didn’t stay on the females or any of the other pack members that were working, he didn’t really care about them being there. Instead, his red eyes stopped moving when he saw a large and growing pile of wood across the way. Nodding slightly, he yipped at the darker male and started walking again.
Looks like a good enough place over here, I think. Everyone else is dumping the wood here as well. There were a few strips of tilled dirt in their way, things that Octa just stepped over without disturbing. Peeking back again, he paused and frowned, hoping that Sev would be confident enough in himself to do the same without stumbling. There would be no problems if he used this two legged form more often, something that Octavius fully intended to remedy very soon, if not on the same day.
