Both light and dark slaves jumped to attention at there names. Previously, both had been sitting, eyes to the ground with their ears pricked forward to catch as much as they could. Raoth grabbed the bottles beside him and began sprinting to the wagon. He could take it, he was in much better shape. Dhiate glared in his companion's direction before rolling his eyes and slowly heading back into the warzone.
Upon entering the threshold of the the desecrated building, Dhiate shuddered. He'd caught enough of the conversation to know this: the female he'd seen before was apparently of a powerful position but needed Amy's help to be able to take that position. And she needed wardrobe help. As his eyes set once more on the girl, he understood what he was called for. Before he could stop himself, both eyebrows were gone beneath dark bangs and an astonished look broke across his face. Her long hair was tangled and wet, a mess and for some reason it bugged him. It bugged him like a tick that refused to leave. He knew it would bite at him until he fixed the problem. Dhiate bit his lip as he always did before looking to Amy for permission. He wanted to fix it. He wanted to make her beautiful.
He heard the clopping of hooves and turned to see Raoth leading the horse and wagon over. Perfect. Without realizing it, a wide smile of excitement split his face in two. This would be fun.
