Sweetly the Music Played

It had been so long since he had made his way to Halifax for the simple purpose of going to his music shop. In his mind he was aware that the shop was not just his, that other canines probably had found it as well but he had taken the time to clean the place up and he had taken the time to organize the mess the humans had left behind and it was where he had found his treasured violin, stored neatly behind glass, untouched in years. Although the Knight was a protector first and foremost but music had influenced him greatly. It was the little skills he had needed to develop, the patience that each new skill took to learn and the end result three years later of being able to just play, express himself. It was those simple things that had helped to mold him into the leader he was today.

Turning the corner he spotted the shop, a tall and thin building made up of two levels and a concrete roof. In one hand he juggled the chains wrapped around the door handles while his other hand held his violin case. Once the chains fell limp to the ground he easily opened the door and took a deep breath. The store still smelt of musty paper, from the many music books on shelves. Eagerly he placed the violin case down and quickly opened it, picking up his instrument and pulling the horsehair bow against the strings while tweaking the nobs to adjust the tuning. With ease he sat down on the counter and began to fiddle lightly, a happy tune. Fenris knew the male had reason to not be in the best mood with bandages wrapped around his upper torso, still holding his couple of broken ribs in place and protecting the gash from getting infected, but he was happy to have a moment to himself regardless.
