Somehow she had become the odd person out in this little gathering of secrets, but it did not bother her in the slightest. She rather liked seeing Saluce bond with the little ones, for it lent her a little insight into how he would treat their own pups should they be blessed with them.
She smiled as her mate set the attention on Boothe so his little fond display for his sister, all the while seeking to conceal something behind his back. The woman made quite a show to see what was behind him, going so far as to animatedly crane her neck around as if to spy around his shoulder. Eventually she placed Salvador down as his squirming was becoming too wild to not notice without reaction. The flowers that decorated his pelt fell away from his dark hide as she ran off to harass the older pups, mainly Boothe who seemed fixed on proclaiming himself Alpha of their little group. “How sweet of you Boothe,” the autumn dame praised him kindly. “You’re a wonderful brother for thinking of your sister like that.”
Her steps closer to the family were paused once Saluce revealed what was hidden behind his back, and for a moment the often articulate she-wolf was at a loss of words for what she behold. Though she and the little one had played through the flowers earlier that day, there was an indescribable warming sensation when the radiant blossoms of spring were presented to her like this. Her tail gave an awkward shiver then raised high as it waved with unbridled elation. Dulled bronze shown then in lustrous hues of amber and gold as they danced excitedly over the fragrant blooms, and then settled upon the azure hues of her mate. “Saluce… they are beautiful,” she breathed at last then gently clasped her hands around both the stems and his paws. “But…” her ears perked at this tell of an assignment for the pups. “..what are we doing tonight?” Where they not all going to spend this time together as a family?
