el imperio en el que nunca se pone el sol

The Lykoi woman knew that she relied on her hidden skills for moments like this. She was not a strong and muscular as her male companions and she did better with open area fighting as well as the hidden advantages of bows, poisons and tactical likes. She was a spy and it fitted her perfectly. Now she had thrown herself headfirst into a battle she knew she couldn't win with her staff though she could outsmart the larger wolf if given the chance.

The pounding of hooves was dim in her ears as she finally was able to get the dart loaded, her muzzle dipping down to pluck the blow pipe from the thong around her neck as she twisted the staff in her hands to block once more. Saul reared then and the small woman was turned away from the attacking beast as she realized help was coming. Zana didn't wait for a moment, she let loose the tiny poisoned dart, knowing that she had pierced the beast's flesh at the close range.

Not wanting to get locked up again against the large creature she let Saul carry her away for a moment as she yelled for Ithiel. "He's been poisoned, it will slow him, but not kill him..." Her eyes were wild as she let Saul carry her back into the fray, her eyes watching the other beast moving through the woods as they protected their lands, her mind wondering what this attack was over as she snarled, turning to look towards Angel to see what danger he might be in.
