Dalgina raced over the grounds. Yesterday Kiara's pups had finally come. Dalgina had been surprised by how tiny they were. It seemed coming out of Kiara had been a rather exhausting process, the pups quickly falling asleep. Today she would be able to play with them though, she was sure. Humming Dalgina paused to get a better grip on the small rabbit she had managed to catch. It had been close to death when the tiny pup had found it, making it a quick easy kill.
Reaching the den Dalgina dropped the rabbit. Laying down she stuck her head inside, woofing gently for Kiara's attention. The smell of the new pups was still very strong, and Dalgina couldn't wait to get a better look at them. She hadn't stayed long, leaving once the puppies fell asleep to make sure she didn't wake them up. They could all eat the rabbit together though, and that would surely make everything better, giving them enough energy to play.
