Just as Kiara expected, Dalgina had no memory of her early days. She didn't remember her clumsy attempts to walk, or how the world was one so expansive. Neither did Kiara of course, but Dalgina was much younger than the arctic wolf and had a better chance of remembering. Even though it was a matter of no consequence, Kiara was still battered with a barrage of never-ending questions. "When puppies are young and just learning how to walk, they often fall over. As they get older, they will fall less." The arctic wolf didn't feel like going into full details, especially because she had not been around to witness Dalgina's first attempts to walk. Jace had also kept her puppies hidden for a few months before she allowed Kiara to approach them.
At last, the puppies were settling down for a nap. Kiara enjoyed the down times, although she like to watch her children's feeble attempts to get around. They could be extremely adorable during those times. All of the sudden, Dalgina decided she was going to fetch her sister, Keldava. The white mother stared at Dalgina in surprise for a moment before she smiled and nodded. The two rubbed against each other before Dalgina licked the pups and left. Kiara settled down to wait, as she gently groomed her tired infants.
