Dhiate's whole being relaxed at her soft touch. His blue gray eyes met her brown ones and a gentle smile edged its way onto his beautiful face. He heard her proposal and nodded, grateful for the chance to make up for his wrong deeds. Yes ma'am.
The instant she pulled away, he began to make plans on how he should make it, knowing full well that if he was going to spend the time making one it would have to be the best. Besides, Amy only accepted the best. Only deserved it.
As his mind was elsewhere, he didn't notice the stranger step forward until it was too late. He felt the soft caress of another's fingers. Before he could recoil from a touch unknown to him, the dark bangs were lifted over his right eye revealing to small scars that ran parallel over his eye. For an instant he simply stood stunned, everything seemed to go in slow motion. It took an eternity for his eyes to widen, for Amy to reach forward, for the bangs to fall back. Once the world was black in one eye again, everything resumed like normal.
Dhiate fell back against Raoth. Not even glancing up, he trembled against the younger, albeit bigger, slave. He had never seen Amy this angry, and for once it truly frightened him.
It took him a few seconds to register the fact that he'd been called by name. That voice was so familiar, but he couldn't place it. Looking into those bicolored eyes, his own widened in recognition. Ce-Cerberus?
