If we are to do this properly, we need to handle the viral infection properly. All of the horses in souls would not contract the virus at the same time nor would a multitude of virus cells mutate the same way over the distances of souls. One viral cell would mutate appropriately and if viable, would then infect one horse, multiply and then spread out from there. For instance, if a horse in Halifax contracted said virus, horses in the northern lands would not contract the virus for, say, 1 or 2 months later.


So, in this, I volunteer one of Jace's horses as Patient Zero. She can decide if her horse gets wings or horn.



And yes, I get the April Fool.
