I'm Not One of Them
#3
A soft woof caught Tharin's attention. Dropping the kill Tharin quickly trotted the short distance to where his borders were, just out of sight from his resting place. His tail curled into it's naturally dominant stance, no longer having to worry about submitting to others that he saw. It wasn't long before the wolf came into view. He was older than Tharin, a large scar running down his face. It had probably blinded him, but he was still fairly large. Tharin held the clear advantage in weight, muscles covering the young wolf's body.

Pleasantly he stretched out, sniffing curiously at the new wolf. Hello. It was a pack wolf, a faint trace of a scent that Tharin couldn't place. It was the western pack that he'd passed by when he'd first come to the area, uncertain of whether or not to approach. The pack was new, but appeared to be very strong. Tharin could see why if it held such pack members as this one. Stepping back he grinned. Nice to meet someone who isn't a female. It had been the way his luck had been running, encountering only females.
