I'm Not One of Them

Shandom confirmed that it was the luperci that lived strange lifestyles, not normal wolves. Tharin wasn't sure what he would think of normal wolves living a lifestyle different from the one he lived. He could understand there being different beliefs and culture, but not just going around and changing everything about them. He listened as Shandom spoke, hackles raising slightly as he connected the dots. Here was another unfortunate that had been infected. How infectious was this virus? Would he catch it just by being near the luperci? He didn't know.

He nodded his head in confirmation as New Dawn was explained. He didn't even have to ask. A pack where wolves lived the way he was used to, the 'traditional' way, as Shandom put it. It sounded nice. A place where he could fit in. If they would have him. There was still that problem. He was young, and unsure if a pack would want another vagrant in it. It sounds like a good pack. The virus can work as medicine? If that was the case, maybe it could be a good thing. It could save lives where wolves would otherwise die. It was something he wished, for the death to stop.
