It might take a bit for me to get back into the swing of things, so I apologize to whoever joins this about my weird posts. Clover's wandering through the Ruins headed towards Sirius' living quarters. :3

The winter had not been kind to Clover Love Lykoi, but perhaps the past year in it’s entirely had not been. Much had changed since her departure from Juniper Peace as a young girl, hardly even a woman then. She had thought the future would be so much different than what it had become. She hadn’t seen any of this coming. If she had, would Clover have done things differently?

As the weather got colder, Clover caught a sickness that she just couldn’t seem to shake. However it did not show prominently, for it was a sickness within; a sickness of the mind. The Lykoi woman began to lose interest in the things she had once cared for and she often felt hopeless and meaningless. Here she was amongst the kingdom of her beloved, and yet he was a ruler whom Clover could never reach. They would never be together for he was unobtainable and there was no one else Clover dared throw eyes at, for she knew her heart’s desire.

As the snow began to fall and the temperatures dropped, the Lykoi woman made somewhat of a recluse out of herself. She still did tend to her leaders’ things as was expected of her, but her appearances became more sporadic and often she would keep to herself in her own living space. Daisy was left alone much of the winter months, except for when others of the Family were kind enough to tend to her.

The beautiful hippie child had turned into this sad, broken thing and she wasn’t even sure how. Though she was aware what was happening, it was not enough to pull herself from the deepening depression that pulled her beneath the depths. Clover herself felt crazy. She thought it best to keep to herself and stay out of everyone’s way. Many nights she spent huddled in her furs, sipping tea she brewed from herbs she had long harvested and stored away. It was a sullen season and it had left its mark. Clover, although always a petite girl, had grown to look fragile. The lighthearted spark in her eye had leeched to leave nothing but dusty straw behind. Although she had used to love to sneak peeks of herself in Sirius’ mirror, her reflection became a trigger for self loathing. She only saw a monster staring back at her, someone not worth anything. How could someone become so broken?

But hope came in the form of soft sun rays and early spring weather. An unusual stretch of warm air had rolled into the area and brought upon high temperatures and an abundance of sunlight. As she made her way through the Ruins, headed towards the domain of her King to tend to her chores, Clover found herself humming a soft tune. It had been quite some time since any sort of note had been produced, but something about this day seemed hopeful. Somehow Clover was convinced that if she stole a glance into that mirror, the monster would be gone and she would be greeted by the girl she used to know, or at least her shadow.
