Big Grin

There were no words deemed clever enough to respond to his charming tenor, but a rosy blush did blossom just beneath the russet mask the Lykoi family had gifted her while gaze fell away. In his presence Clover always felt a strange shift in her world – the quickening in her pulse, the spark of adoration amongst a pale yellow gaze, feeling somehow vulnerable because she knew she would hide nothing from him and yet equally as protected by his side. Somehow the young Lykoi woman knew that her King would not betray her, would never let harm come to pass; though it was clear he could easily do so if he wanted. Clover was not a prey strenuously caught.

The pale yellow of her father happily lifted to examine those dark, brooding features once again and her soft reply came, If that’s what you wish I’d be happy to, love. Though she could hardly be certain what it was that her Majesty had in mind, it had been some time since Clover had last tended to such pleasing aesthetics and thought that perhaps they may spend the morning properly grooming those dark tangles or rubbing away any knots that had kinked the thick muscle of the man’s shoulders. Clover would not object to such a suggestion, even if had not come from the Boss himself. Though his rank demanded her obedience, she would just have easily followed after that crocodile smile and combed those locks if that’s what it meant to bring her closer, to take in his rich musk which was so intoxicating in such deep, concentrated doses.

The remainder of Clover’s journey did not take long, for Sirius had encountered her not far from his own chambers. As they drew near she swore she could detect an unfamiliar scent tainting the air, and her gaze studied the man for a brief moment as if it might provide answers. It pained her to know that Sirius would allow himself to other woman here, which she knew he had and it made no difference anyhow, but she couldn’t help the pang of jealously that sprung up in her chest. Clover knew she’d rather remain ignorant to these things.

Her pace died away as they reached the doorway, and she paused to allow her King to enter first, her head dipping in a slight bow while they advanced to his throne.
