Thinking of our three little L's makes me so excited! Smile

Though she had paused just outside the door to allow for her King to enter his own chambers, pale yellow did find the form of the slumbering woman within. It was clear her first thoughts had been wrong, and the Lykoi woman waited in silence as the King roused his slave and the woman went scampering out the door past Clover. Once she had gone away, Clover stepped into the King’s familiar chambers, meeting his gaze as a shoulder shrugged gently, and she merely nodded lighty in response. Clover knew Sirius did not care to hear her views on slavery, and it didn’t matter anyhow; though she didn’t quite understand the premise of slaves, she did not object.

While he had moved to his throne, Clover let her gaze sweep the room. She had, after all, been on her way to tend to his things. She made a mental checklist of what would need to be done, and wondered if this mysterious slave woman would begin to do many of the things Clover had done since her arrival. She hoped the woman would be assigned mundane tasks, such as beating the dust from his sleeping furs, while she could retain the privilege of tending to his aesthetics and caring for his most prized belongings. The simple fact that she alone was given this freedom gave her a great sense of pride and purpose. The thought of this being shared with someone else made her chest burn with an ugly flame of resentment.

At last her gaze came to fall upon her King who, seated upon his high-backed throne, looked somehow malevolently majestic causing the steady pulse to quicken beneath tawny fur. The smile that bloomed amongst her features could not be suppressed, for it was obvious any moment in which her presence was granted among Sirius was cherished. Shall I tame those dark curls, sire? Soft voice asked as her graceful stride brought her to those possessions most highly treasured so she might collect both his mirror and brush. Her gaze, however, sought him for approval before she aimed to move to his side at the stone cathedra.
