the sound of silence,

Sascha wasn't what he appeared to be. The scars that littered his body wasn't from vicious fights with other wolves or coyotes. He wasn't mean spirited like some may think due to appearance alone and he only carried a club on his back for self defense. The Ulrich was nothing like he appeared and it took good amount of interaction to realize it. The more he hung out with Valkyrie the more he wondered if he could learn to smile, if it was even possible. He's never done it before. It was hard to believe something that most people do instinctively was something he had to think hard about. The boy has lived this long without a thought of it so why was it now that he even thought of trying it? Instead of following through with his own curiosity, he had been distracted by Val's voice during their ride together. Her voice filled the air around them as did the sound of him scribbling on paper.|

It wasn't that he enjoyed the rank he was at and had been for some time now. He also understood why he's hardly moved, or at least he believed he did. It wasn't because Zeke had a thing against him, not that he knew of anyway. It was probably because he hadn't done much for the pack. He was like a ghost basically and it didn't help that he was so shy and cautious. Every time he met a stranger he wanted to hide behind something; he was like that even now. However, he got better after knowing someone more; it just took a while. Sascha was working on bettering himself further by just being more trusting but that was easy said than done. He wasn't exactly raised to trust anyone and not be afraid of others; his mother would be the one to thank mostly for that.

They managed to arrive in good time and once they entered he questioned where they should start. His English was better now and he could pretty much write in full sentences. Now him deciding to be lazy and still write shorten versions of sentences every now and then was another story. Ruby eyes connected with her golden like eyes as he listened, nodding in response. He then eyed the place further with hopes to find the non-fiction place she had mentioned. Long legs carried him to his left as he looked at each isle looking for a sign of any kind to tell him what he searched for.
