Beg? On her knees? Amy's lips twitched, threatening to laugh. That wasn't going to happen. Amy would never do such a thing. She stood still as the menacing female came closer, fully prepared to attack. The words had her flinching slightly. Superior? Amy knew that she wasn't a high ranked member, but that didn't mean it was easy to swallow down. Having to submit to anyone was difficult to imagine. At least, not to those outside of her family. Only her family deserved such respect.
The dog wasn't taking it though. Amy's ears lowered slightly, allowing the superiority claim, and that alone was painful to do. The sound that followed was mind blowing. Amy staggered back, hands raising to cover her sensitive ears. That hurt! Falling to the ground Amy howled with pain, wishing that the woman had just decided to attack her with an ax. That would have been so much easier. When it stopped Amy could only lie there, body shaking slightly.
