Relief shone in his eyes at the dismissal. Being under scrutiny of Amy's chosen was very difficult. He didn't know if he had passed whatever measurements had been taken from him, what Levent thought of the hybrid. Hopefully nothing bad. He still wanted to live. It looked like he would be doing that at least for now. Dipping his head respectfully Hadley severed part of the meat, leaving the better portion for them before gathering it up to leave. He knew that Levent hadn't asked for it, but he still felt like it would be best to give him something. Perhaps it would even grant him some mercy later on. Carrying his burden he turned back towards the camp, walking as fast as he dared to find Shadow and get away from there.
