Helotes reached up a black gloved arm to wipe his forehead. He was panting heavily; even though the sun had just risen, it was already beginning to beat unmercilessly. He knew the heat was mostly internal, but still, his body complained that he training rather than taking a nice nap in the shade. Helotes turned his head to look at his young ward, who was still sucking on the flask like a pup on its mother’s tip. Helotes reached over and removed the bottle from the boy’s lips and was given a snarl which Helotes returned ten-fold, and the slave flattened his ears immediately.
Then suddenly the air changed, Helotes could sense her presence before she arrived, but like a glowing visage of perfection the woman from the other day, Emmanuelle he believed her name to be, exited the mansion and turned to look at them.
The two males must have looked very silly in the moment, both staring at the golden haired maiden with eyes wide and wet mouths slightly agape. Helotes was once again taken aback by her beauty, but as she turned to walk towards them he regained his sense and stood to properly speak with her.
