Bitter Moments

She laughed too, clearly agreeing with the thought. That made him feel a lot better about it. Dealing with large towering two leggers was pretty intimidating when he was trying to figure out how to do stuff like he normally would. Getting someone larger than him to submit would be very difficult. Being told that the luperci lived a humanized lifestyle again didn't help Tharin picture what it was like. All that was in his mind was two leggers killing others from a distance. It was strange, but definitely useful. Why one would dislike being able to do that was confusing, even if he himself didn't want to have the virus, perfectly happy with the way he was. He didn't need those other things to prove himself a strong hunter.

Signs would be shown, paths drawn in the stars. Our guardians. His voice was quiet, proud of his heritage, of the fact that he looked up at the stars and saw those that would protect them, help them with their lives. Fayne giggled. Obviously she didn't have anyone to share her beliefs about stars with. No, you don't sound silly. My pack believes the stars are deities, existing to light our path and show us what must be done.
