Thanatos was hoping to see the beautiful Amy again. Perhaps if he was in the area he had seen her last, he would run into her again. He picked up a male scent behind him as the wind changed direction. An evil smile spread across his face and he chuckled as he turned to face the man. Amateur. He didn’t have any of his weapons this time but they weren’t needed, even if the other assassin before him had weapons. A couple of throwing knives were tossed at him, the first two missed and Thanatos caught the last just before it hit his shoulder. He threw the man’s own knife at him and watched as it landed right in the middle of the man’s chest.
Thanatos stepped towards him and pulled out the knife. He cut into the man’s throat, making it impossible for him to make any sounds as Thanatos started to skin him alive. A gurgled cry erupted from the man’s throat but nothing loud enough for others to hear.
