Word Count: 442 :: Lea's just kind of chilling, doing nothing fun. XD

Her hand was a most distasteful shade of red. Linquilea did not appreciate it.

Bright gold eyes narrowed at the offending paw, her lips twisted into a delicate snarl before her salmon tongue darted out to capture the last drops of blood. She moaned in pleasure as the metallic substance overwhelmed her, the snarl replaced briefly by a small smile. It was the only thing that made her feel alive and slightly normal, like the girl she used to be. How twisted! How utterly sick that she could only find herself when she consumed the blood of others. It was as if she survived on the suffering of others - yes, she could admit that. Suffering and chaos - it was her lifeline, her connection to reality, the only thing that could bring stability to the broken mind.

Unfortunately, she did not have easy access to victims in this land. Her various conquests had provided ample fodder for her twisted pleasures, and living as a loner gave her only the option of Niccolo. The chocolate male had long since grown accustomed to Lea's attacks, though it did not make it any easier on the dark male. His screams could not be stifled as she dug into him, but he did not fight back: it would make it worse, and he was driven by the will to survive and continue to serve the massive woman. Her mind was now eased, though, and Niccolo had been given permission to find a stream and bathe himself. Lea was not concerned about whether or not he would return.

She was now quite bored, though, and she decided to preoccupy herself with shifting back onto four legs. The process took only several minutes, but it gave her chaotic mind something to focus on. It was still a strange sensation three years later, and Linquilea was well aware of the disadvantage of being born a normal wolf. How long ago that had been! The years were slipping by faster and faster, and though she was not feeling the effects of age, she knew she was not the youthful girl she had been. It was strange. Childhood was strange.

Once back in her natural form, the woman stretched into a deep bow, sighing in relief as she felt the bones in her back crack and give instant gratification. The noise was quite pleasurable - it reminded her of the snapping of bones underneath her teeth. But that was for a different time. Linquilea reclined into a comfortable position, and tilted her head in the direction Niccolo had gone. He would be returning soon, and she eagerly anticipated his arrival.
