Her grin returned, bringing a smile from Tharin. That was much better, having her in good spirits instead of the loneliness that rose off her. Tharin was lucky that he hadn't been forced to experience it for very long. He'd had Akira, and it had only been a couple months before he had found New Dawn. Those couple months had been the longest of his entire life. Blaming the absent mate was slightly amusing, but he did know it hid pain. He moved ahead, with Kiara bouncing behind him.
It wasn't long before he felt something brushing at his tail. Tharin continued a short distance further before he peeked behind him, watching Kiara lunge for his wagging tail. Mockingly he wagged it right in her face, only to have it snatched that time. A short yelp came out, Tharin spinning around to face her with a growl. He pushed against her, moving to grab her ear and tug it down. They were still moving, but that didn't mean they couldn't goof off while doing so.
