Both wolves stood at the border, panting and simply catching their breath. Grinning Tharin nuzzled Kiara again. They were at the border, and he knew that he had to leave. The wolf lingered for a moment longer instead. He looked down at the flowers that ran along the scent line, unaware that it was on purpose, just that it looked a little strange. Once he was over that the fact that they weren't pack would settle in again. Right there though, he could pretend.
Sighing he finally moved. I'll come back with more food soon. That was all he could promise as he turned, trotting back towards New Dawn. No lingering sentiments, no sweet words for the female that he was growing attached to. There was no meaning in it, everything communicated more simply in their actions.
