She saw his eyes wander down her form before meeting her eyes again. What he said next stunned he even more than before. Everything he said, could he have really meant it? Or was he just saying it because she was in heat? Hadley stepped closer to her and she wanted to close the space between them but knew it would be a mistake.
Isa took another step back, her tail slightly tucked between her legs. Are you alright Hadley? What was she saying? Of course he wasn’t. He was clearly being driven by the scent she was giving off. He never gave any signs of having feelings for her until she was in heat. There was no way it was just a coincidence.
Isa backed up until she was right up next to the small waterfall with her back against the rocks. She should have just stayed in her room. Hadley wouldn’t have been acting like that if she had. He didn’t really want her. She had to keep telling herself that so she wouldn’t give in to what her body wanted.
