Hadley returned her smile with a big goofy grin of his own. His expression went blank when he heard her question. Did he not know she was in heat? How could he have not known? He seemed worried or maybe he was scared for some reason. Maybe he really didn’t want her and just realized what he had done. His question only made her assume he wasn’t completely aware of his actions. Hadley really didn’t want her.
Isa sat up with her back to Hadley, bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. I’m sorry Hadley. I shouldn’t have. She hoped he wasn’t angry with her but she should have known better. She knew she was in heat and shouldn’t have gotten so close to Hadley but she did anyway. Isa considered leaving but she didn’t want to at the same time. She liked being around Hadley, even if he didn’t have the same feelings she did.
She wanted to lay back down with him but knew it would probably only happen again. Isa had to try her best to keep her hands to herself. It wasn’t working to well, all she wanted was him.
