Siv snarled and hit the ground, launching herself forward again.
The horse turned sharply and she saw the flash of steel come towards her again. Siv bolted to the side and made a wide circle. She would go after the horse, take it down and kill the rider. Snarling and snapping, she rushed for the legs of the animal and managed to close her teeth around a bony leg before both the sword and hooves came down, reigning twin blows that forced her again to retreat and circle wide.
