Kit couldn't think of the last time someone had been so condescending to him, treating him like a puppy that had been caught doing something bad. In some respects, it beat the alternative of an actual attack on him, but Kit felt his cheeks burning at such treatment from a female he was attracted to. Relief from his ear being tugged was a short-lived thing, the male unable to react in time to avoid being forced to the ground, and straddled by the female. For a moment, Kit worried that she was actually going to attack him, and in his current position that would have been a problem.
Instead, she just continued to treat him like a puppy, the look on his face one of frustration, and uncertainty of how to react. The feel of Alma's tail brushing against his legs was an enticing distraction from the cruel words that she continued to throw at him, but wasn't enough to keep him from responding in a smart tone "For someone that claims they were saying no, you sure chose an strange way to show it...". It was probably a terrible idea, attempting to gain the upper hand, but Kit didn't like being made a mockery of.
Kit's right hand reached up to brush along one of Alma's legs, a trickster's grin evident on his face, regardless of if his hand managed to touch skin or not. In the end, he probably wouldn't have the last laugh, but the male felt at least partially confident this particular female wouldn't kill him for going too far.
