The party never ends, the game begins again

The woman the four Salsolan eyes settle don had already been dealt with by someone else. White canines glared at her, treating this as crude evidence of the stranger woman’s foul reasons for being here. She deserved every weeping wound and more. But rage had long to go before his blackened form was to spin out of control. She couldn’t go anywhere, and it made the situation into something he could deal with. Smashing in heads was a move that had to be used when one battled to get the upper hand. This woman had already been beaten up, and could now go nowhere. They could do whatever they wanted, in their own pace.

Stormy grey eyes flickered to the cloaked woman beside him. It was a habit, looking for guidance in others. In Freetown, he was his own master with his own choices most of the time, but it was easy to fall into old tracks in the lands where he had grown up. But they were both equals in the Family, though he preferred to put age before youth. It was how it should be.

As the woman snarled, a dark chuckle was released from the depths of his throat. ”This is good,” he rumbled, adding an unconscious bob to his wolfish snout as he agreed with himself. ”Information can be harvested from those who still breathe,” the last sentence was spoken more quietly, for he knew nothing about the individuals of the group that had been so bold as to attack the glorious Salsolan Kingdom. The snared woman would have an idea of what could happen if she was caught alive, but he didn’t know if she had the guts to end her own life with a swipe of her claws across a main artery if she got their intentions confirmed too soon.
